35mm. It should be just about exactly the wheel gap I have now.
If you have the SE with sport handling pack, its about a 1"/25mm drop, since the OE handling pack is a .5"/12.7mm drop from the factory (at least mine was)...

It's still settling but it's dropping nicely. We'll see how low it ultimately goes. Regardless, coilovers next.

I just went through every page of this thread -- looks great! Very sharp.
Thank you!

A teaser, while I get to editing more photos. A few updates were made.

New headlights and visors:
The second small change for now is a set of window visors.

These particular ones from EGR fit into the channel, and the install was a few minutes at most. The fronts fit in and are ready to go right away but the rears use double-sided tape and require the windows to stay up for a few days so that they stick fully.

(Check out the marks on the black pillar trim. Clean and polish them all you want, and they still look horrible. Sigh.)

The fitment was great, and I think I’ll like these very much in the long run. Already they have been very nice to have, with the rain that has happened on and off.

There are still more items to address but some parts are either still on their way or yet to be ordered...here's hoping it all gets done in time!
I was wondering if you had looked at weathertech's visor's? they are a bit less expensive. Why choose egr? Just curious.

ill.motion Sunday School 2013:

Yesterday was the third annual Sunday School show and shine hosted by ill.motion. After plenty of preparation, our group was ready and arrived with a nice selection of cars; we were also lucky and got a great spot in the venue.

I drove the 5.0 down with one friend taking the Focus for me... (this shot was taken after the show ended, hence why the Celica seen below is missing)

...and another taking the Grand Prix.

The Focus had received a few updates, so I quickly edited some photos to post here.

Who sees the meaning behind the design of the center caps?

Thanks goes to everyone involved; Metro Ford included (no decal here).

Souvenirs from shows this year.

The V-Maxx springs are in and while the fronts are still settling, the rear has come down nicely.

Under the hood was the special piece though, a lucky find which arrived just in time.

This is Steeda's prototype Mk3 engine cover, number 0001. You cannot buy one of these as they are not made; I have THE cover, as seen on the SEMA car. I am rather proud of this part. [:)]

Now that the show is over a couple of small updates are still in the plans for the near future, and hopefully will be in before the last events of the year.

A friend actually ordered in a couple of sets and let me take one for my car. It's that simple. [:)]

Focus is almost backed into twice....

and suffers a couple of black eyes. It's been an interesting day. The black eyes are the good news though.

Yesterday while at work I asked my friend in parts if the price on Titanium headlights had changed at all. I figured that since they're now going to be more common with SEs gaining the 'Black Pack' option, perhaps there was a chance the price had changed? Long shot but worth a try.

It was a good thing I asked. To cut the story short I was able to order a set of new OEM Titanium lights for less than the $600 I was previously quoted, so I gave the go ahead and picked them up this morning.

At home, unwrapped and almost ready to go in. They came with all bulbs already in place, which was nice.

Do you still have the chrome ones?

Rear valance, part I:

For your rear valance, how is the paint holding up. Had a few body shops tell me they wouldn't recommend painting the black "plastic" parts. They said eventually crack or peel even if they added adhesion promoters and flexors to the paint.
Just wondering how they are holding up after a lovely Canadian winter.

Glad it made it in time!
I was really hoping it would be here. [thumb]

Thank you sir! The rear fog lights did not get wired up in time, hopefully soon.

Did you pull the vinyl off your grill?

Nope, it's still there. Sometimes it appears much lighter than the surrounding trim.

Dude awesome work on the car :)
Thanks Austin!

I do, but they're not for sale if that's what you're wondering. Sorry!

It's been just fine so far. My shop told me just to bring it back for touch-ups should it ever give me trouble.

Nope, no clearance issues at all. Do you know the offset of yours?

Here we are, about 6 weeks after I had my headlights replaced under warranty for hazing by the parking lights.

Guess what's happening again?

Uh... Your car switched from drinking gas to drinking timmies coffee? :p oh, wait, you said "again"... Welp, nevermind... Did you switch back to the stock bulbs?
