D23= more HP and timing chain, D20= less HP and timing belt.

NO, all Duratec engines in our cars use timing chains. Zetec and SPI engines have timing belts. From what I understand, the new (to the US) 1.6L Duratec in the Fiesta is a timing belt engine.
