I think that drop is perfect! Its very similar to my dad's '06 (I'm not sure what springs he used) but it sits and rides beautifully.
I'm really glad to see someone else not interested in dropping their car to the ground. hahaha

here's a pic of my dad's:

My Gt was about as low as that black one. As a result of being low, my 60 foot times at the track got worse. Poor little control arms.
Yeah, I have NO interest in going any lower.
This got rid of the "extra" space in the fender gap.
That's all I wanted to do.
I did NOT want to have to drive around pebbles in the road cuz I might scrape.

As far as hooking up, I feel that it hooks better now than ever.

I have BMR relocation brackets for the rear lower control arms, and I have the BMR tubular rear lower control arms, installed in the middle hole of the relo brackets.

Looks great! Those cars are FUN. It needs a supercharger... just sayin... hint hint.. 10's in the 1/4... hint hint...
Oh, I'm pretty sure a black Vortech kit or custom-black Paxton kit will eventually find its way under the hood ... lol

Looks perfect to me. The before still looked great too.
Thank you!

I'm just about done with the suspension.

Was on American Muscle's site earlier looking at tuners ... $357 shipped after the forum discount was kind of a tempting deal ... lol

and why arent you over on bof with the rest of us mustang guys?
bof ???

Looks good. I may have to lower my stang at some point the ass end just sits so high
Thanks man ... yeah, the stock stance definitely has them sitting way high in the rear ... something that's been going on since the 94 body style came out ...

I love the wheels on this thing! It is just a super classy car that you can have so much fun with. And I agree, you lowered it to the absolute perfect height!

blueovalfanatics, this sites sister site that deals with all other ford models.
hares a link that should allow you to sync your account between the two so you don't have to change your username, password, or lose your post count... unless you prefer to then just go to the site direct and sign up with a different name and become a newb once again lol

Thanks. I just took a look on there at the Mustang section and it's not attracting me at all ... I'm already on allfordmustangs.com, s197forum.com, and themustangsource.com and those Mustang sites actually get updated and have traffic ... BOF seems to barely get any traffic / replies ... I'm all set I guess, I'll stay with the sites I'm already on.

Now we can see where it's been! Car looks great - except for the badges on the side. Remove those
Lol thanks but the badges are gonna stay, especially since the fender is not hole-free behind them ...

Thanks Nevin.

I'm actually contemplating getting 2 new wheels to send out to have widened so I can run wider rear tires safely ... and a small spacer up front to bring the wheels out a little, something like 1/8" or 1/4" at most ...

Gabe, Have you heard of BAMA Performance. With your GT, since you have VVT on intake and exhaust, you can get a tune called "Ghost Cam" which will modify your timing and make it sound like you have Ford B303 cam.

my friend in a different unit got this EXACT tune and I love the sound of it.

Here's a Video:

Thanks, yeah I know about the Ghost Cam tunes ... there's not a lot of tuners that offer it for the '13-'14 ... I am pretty close to ordering a Bama tuner from AM, but I don't think they offer the ghost-cam tunes anymore ...

I love the color. Keep in mind guys the springs will settle in a few weeks and he'll be looking at another quater inch drop or like my springs on my focus another .5 inch drop.
