Finally lowered, done by yours truly.
Koni Sport adjustable struts/shocks, Steeda Sport springs, GT500 strut mounts/bearings, FRPP bump stops, Gabriel dust boots, Ford OEM coil sleeves for the bottom coil of the coil springs.

Dirty car but had to take the "obligatory pic", lol:

And the "before" :

The springs are rated for 1" lower in the front and 1.25" lower in the back.

Lol, thanks ... See the first post for the before pic, I just edited it in :)

Come on, it looks great and most importantly it's probably still usable. At this point I could frankly give a shit about my cars stance, I'm tired of slowing to 2 MPH just to traverse driveways.

That's a tastefully done Mustang, most I see are either stock or overloaded with stuff that makes them look bloated.

Ummm ... thanks?

"Those rims" are soon gonna become the winter rims.

I'm looking into doing a set of 20's or a different set of 19's, staggered of course.

Going super low on a Mustang is sort of a bad idea, like, well, every other car ever made. The front is really easy to plow into things and lowering the rear throws off the geometry of the axle to the center of the car and reduces the travel of the LCA, and the pinion angle also gets messed up. These can all be adjusted with aftermarket pieces of course. But it seems like a lot of work to impress highschool kids.

Drop is perfect right there.

dont get me wrong you have a nice mustang but i think this is the perfect drop amount for a mustang...

Thanks, but I think that that's too low, and since this is MY Mustang, *I* love how it sits :)

Yeah, I have NO interest in going any lower.
This got rid of the "extra" space in the fender gap.
That's all I wanted to do.
I did NOT want to have to drive around pebbles in the road cuz I might scrape.

As far as hooking up, I feel that it hooks better now than ever.

I have BMR relocation brackets for the rear lower control arms, and I have the BMR tubular rear lower control arms, installed in the middle hole of the relo brackets.

I think that drop is perfect! Its very similar to my dad's '06 (I'm not sure what springs he used) but it sits and rides beautifully.
I'm really glad to see someone else not interested in dropping their car to the ground. hahaha

...
Thanks Karyn!

Oh, I'm pretty sure a black Vortech kit or custom-black Paxton kit will eventually find its way under the hood ... lol

Looks perfect to me. The before still looked great too.
Thank you!

I'm just about done with the suspension.

Was on American Muscle's site earlier looking at tuners ... $357 shipped after the forum discount was kind of a tempting deal ... lol

bof ???

Looks good. I may have to lower my stang at some point the ass end just sits so high
Thanks man ... yeah, the stock stance definitely has them sitting way high in the rear ... something that's been going on since the 94 body style came out ...

I love the wheels on this thing! It is just a super classy car that you can have so much fun with. And I agree, you lowered it to the absolute perfect height!

Gabe, Have you heard of BAMA Performance. With your GT, since you have VVT on intake and exhaust, you can get a tune called "Ghost Cam" which will modify your timing and make it sound like you have Ford B303 cam.

my friend in a different unit got this EXACT tune and I love the sound of it.

Here's a Video:
