That rag top though. Love it. I'm debating on when I get more cash shaving the antenna on the roof and maybe getting it painted to look like a carbon fiber roof. But adding a rag top would be so sick. How much did that run you?

The cost is around $400.00 to $500.00 for the top and I was quoted around $600.00 to $700.00 for the install.. But My Rag top was FREE[twothumbs][twothumbs] Because it is the first and only 08-11 coupe That has one , And they used my car for a photoshoot for there product, I did get the idea from another car on here,

Anyone in this thread toy with the idea or try to shave the emblem off the trunk? I've been thinking about popping it out, filling the gap in, sanding it down and then painting it for an all around cleaner look on the trunk. Having my front grille emblem chopped off this weekend as well as lowering the granny mobile...pictures to follow of course!

There have been a few people that have done it and it looks good. This is Mike Wobb's car which is a really clean looking coupe!

i have them on my fronts right know and getting a set for the rear if i remember ill take a pic tomarow morning i will say with a 1.5 inch drop theres no rubbing of any kind and rides pretty good

Nice. Yea, I've just been thinking about going up a size for a little wider tire. I jist dont know it itll be worth it since it gets taller too

ill snap some pics here in a bit and upload them

I wanted to run a 235/40r17 on my 17x7's but i was advised not too. Apparently it ruins the handle of the car

On the street?

I dont see why wider tires would kill the handling of the car. More rubber more grip. Also no reason it should throw the speedo off unless running a taller or shorter over all size tire than factory

I used a tire calculator. A 225 adds almost 1 mph. A 235/40 is only .5 mph less....so there isnt much "throwing off"...but apparently the tires are slightly pinched. Putting stress on the sidewall. Other factors...I really don't get it, if people have done it.

im only running mine till the end of the season then im getting new tires these are used tires off a AWD jaguar lol like brand new so i couldnt pass them up for free from a buddy of mine

I run my 225's and 235's both on a 8" wide wheel. However you should be able run both of them on a 7" wide wheel. The 235 will be more stretched
