Hey guys I am thinking of making some kits for LEDs in our trunks and selling them, would anyone be interested? I can make Blue, White, Amber, Red, and Green easily (possibly more as well but depends on what they have for sale at my electronics place). I still need to work out how much it costs and what materials are needed for plug and play install but I think it would be fun to do something like that for all of you. Also if I am not mistaken the 1st gen and 1.5 gens also have the same inner trunk area as us and can use the same set up.

if you want to sell these on here, you will have to contact Tom and get setup as a vendor. Won't cost you to setup. We want to make sure that buyers and sellers are protected and this is how we have it setup.

Thanks, and yea I did already drop a line to Tom about this and am awaiting a response, so there is that and a EPO to wait on.

Also in addition to the LEDs that I have been working on I also got my first set of HID's and installed them into the Fog lights! LOVE THEM!

Right under the car there is that shield or whatever it is called. Do you remove it or??? If you take the headlights out you can get to the fogs?!? Really!

The reason I am asking is cause if I get the projectors probably a good idea to do fogs too. Do we know if there is halo fog lights? That match the projectors?

if you craw under the car the shield opens and you can reach up it but unless you have a lift or something it probably be easier to just take the headlights out and reach down to the fogs

Ok talked with Tom on this and he says put a thread up in the BST section and if they sell well then he said he can set me up as "group buy" thingy.

So I am going to try and make it to EPO and get the supplies and build at least one this weekend, then expect a post in the BST section sometime next week. I am going to do white for the first kit as it will apply to a larger group of peeps, I can do other colors but for the "test" kit I think it will do fine. So much to do this weekend, not sure how I can juggle it all...

you dont need a lift... just sit on ground and pull the cover off... there are 4 screws and bam there off... as for the halo fog lights i dont think they are out yet

A conversion kit for LEDs in the trunk, I am going to make a plug and play version of what I have in my trunk and see if it's a sellable idea.

I would be interested in something that is plug and play. Take out the old bulb, put the new LED bulb in. I don't want to be soldering anything, but that is just me. I don't want anything that would affect resale value.
