Different Generations skew things a bit, I'd likely not be as happy with the small trunk listed for the current ones. Might need a Hatch again! (Do like the looks of the current Hatch)

The current sedans look better, but the trunk space on both new models is less than the older ones, I suspect. Unfortunate, given the physical footprint of the car and the weight are way up.
Yea, I'm w/ you on that.^^^^^^ Look at the trunk opening on the '05-'09 Mustangs, coupe & conv. & then look at the opening on the '10+ cars. I'd say its designed for more crash tests. The opening is really shrunk on the '14's.

Sedan owners often don't start out looking for one, get it for other reasons & find they like it.
I did. I'd sacrifice it for an ST but all things being equal, I don't want to drive a wagon. I'd sooner just get an SUV.

Lies.. i went looking for a replacement for my 4 door accord. i told the guy, I want all the same features. He showed me a 12 focus sedan. Love at first sight

If the svt had the 23 motor, I'd be in a hatch. SVT's is what I was looking at 1st.

You could put the 23 in a hatch.
Yea, you could. At the time I didn't know about 23 hatches. Back in May '04 all I looked at was svt's & the new st's coming out w/ a 23. 4 cylinder cars were new to me.

Initially went for a Hatch, but 1000 more for a shorter car...i could add more options and have a nice sedan and sooooo glad we did, love the lines of the sedan over the hatch. So much more of a sexy car
