Lol I bought a 3 foot machete when I started working on the house. (To use on the over growth) My wife was telling the store employees out loud that she was worried that I was going to kill her.

I was like really, will you shut up.


So then when we went to lowes the next day I teased her when I started looking at cheast freezers.
 
So, my car is in a bad place. it's already been communicated my downstream o2 sensor went. well, today while driving, I was accelerating in 2nd gear, and the car seemed like it was dying. I gave it gas and the spedo start jumping like crazy (I was going 20 and it stuttered up over 100). it finally caught and was fine, then did it again. I can barely accelerate, much less drive. she's going in tomorrow. you guys have any idea? it feels like the power isn't getting to the wheels, if there was any power really.

tonight it was driving okayish, only stuttered twice but I babied it.

also, someone got stabbed around the block from my work and walked with blood dripping to by our door. dbag is gonna cost us all kinds of money to get blood washed off our sidewalk before tomorrow. rich people don't like that kind of stuff

Caleb, the trouble with the car sounds to be the same as what my mazda was going through the other day. Mine was cam position sensor. Did your check engine light come on?
brought it in, decent news. Tis my coil pack bad. hard misfire cyl 3 because of it. the plugs and wires are still good. the o2 sensors were both going too. all together it'll be like 350 with the parts and labor and full diagnostic scan, but hey, she'll be running again atleast.

You could have done the coil pack and O2 sensor your self for probably around 100. The coil pack takes 15 mins and can be done in the parking lot. I did mine there two years ago before focus in the field. Unless its the o2 sensor isn't much harder it just requires getting under the car but its easy as hell.

We are going to need to rename this group the "offical screwed over by focus club".

I was just thinking today I'm tired of helping others with their zetec swap by talking them trough it online just to have theirs start up and drive in the end and mine is still a paper weight. Atleast I know I did the swap right.
