I just had a TCM replaced and wait time for the part was only four days. Maybe I got lucky, but dealer said there wasn't much delay for the TCM and said even clutches aren't as bad of backorder they used to be. My car was diagnosed on a Friday afternoon and dealer had the part Tuesday afternoon, not bad considering the weekend. The TCM replacement itself is pretty fast.

I still have as much shuddering, jerking, and failure to accelerate that I had before. I think I have a newer version of firmware than what I had before, it does feel like a firmer shift, not better just more noticeable.

I was on a 6 week + wait for clutches.

I called it and asked way way way before that and was told they had clutches in stock. So i set a appointment and got my clutches super early.

Maybe thats trick. Call the partss department and ask if they have any clutches in stock. If so ask to set a appointment. ( Only if your already on the waiting list)

I jumped the line this way and it wasn't on purpose. Maybe it was just my dealer being nice.

I wish they'd adapt the traditional automatic I've been hearing about from the 1.0 ecoboost focus, those should be bolted to the 2.0s too. IMO

The MK3 is such a cool car. This is my only reason for not wanting one. My mom has one and I had the tcm replaced about a couple of months ago. I got lucky as well because it was only at the dealership for one day.

Her car shifts fine actually. Doesn't shudder often at least when I've driven it.

Perhaps someday I'll take some time to learn how to drive a manual so I can get an ST when that time comes.

Give me a Focus with the powertrain/trans of the 1.5L Ecoboost Escape. That would be fantastic. I would say the 2.0 Ecoboost, but I feel that would be too quick for a non-ST focus

A decent amount of power, with a standard 6spd auto and paddle shift? Perfect.

Just got off the phone with them. Car won't be in until Monday and who knows how long it'll take to get finished. They're paying for a rental, but it's not my car. Got a 2016 focus that Bucks harder than seabiscuit and doesn't get that great of gas mileage lol

Just got off the phone with ford and they're still waiting on parts to come in. It arrived at the shop Monday September 29th. They said it could be another week to 10 days. Fingers crossed it reaches the 30 day mark and I can pursue the lemon law lol

Let's see how I can best assist, Ajpaoluccii. Do you have a case number with Ford Corporate? If so, please private message it; otherwise, send over your name, phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealer.
