The VIS Evo hood is very similiar.

What are you looking for? Metal? Fiber glass?

 

If you don't want to go cf. Your best bet would be to custom make this

Have never had any issues with carbon fiber products. Fit great and held up just fine. Of course if you pay cheap price you get cheap quality.

 

iv heard nothing but bad things about VIS, and for the fact of spending 800$ on a hood its not worth it unless i get a garanteed perfect fit. otherwise even it if fits it will yellow and fade within a year or two. its just not worth it unless ur garaging it everyday.

 

Hmmm. I had a cf hood for years with no issues and no garage. Didn't even have so much as a clearcoat and it was only about $500 new. Anyway our hoods only like 25 lbs or so and a cf hood is only 17-20 so not much weight savings for the money.
