What Are Your Audio Settings At?

I was just curious what everyone had their audio settings at in the cars. What do you guys think get's the best sound quality?

When I got the car stock everything was at 0. I played around with it for a bit, but didn't really find anything I liked so put everything back to 0 for the time being.

For kicks and giggles I guess just put your settings and which sound system option you have.

I believe I just have the most standard option. 6 speakers I think.

Well, I like hard rock/ heavy metal (reverse order, but actually), I have . . .
Middle: -5-to -7
Treble +2 or +3
Bass +2
Balance - Even
Fade- Even

Yeah, not the best stereo I have had (actually kinda bad really compared to other Fords I have had) even though I love the car otherwise

Mine is

Treble: +3
Middle: 0
Bass: 0
Balance: 0 (middle)
Fade: 0 (middle)

Higher-end extremes have a weird 'buzzing' effect at times -- as if the speakers are not capable of producing those ranges. It's the one real gripe I have, as the 2009 Focus had no tinny buzz (even for the SYNC voice).

Mine has SYNC, the single CD player, and probably just the 6 speakers. (the window sticker says nothing of premium sound...)

Any details on this would be appreciated.

I'd be interested to see a DSP that takes the audio and control signals from the head unit and provides RCA outputs for FR, FL, RR, RL and sub so that I could select my own amps...

I was messing around with the sound system settings today (10 spkr) and for the first time went into the bal and fade settings. Mine was set with the fade in the center but the balance almost all the way left. I see that when you enter the settings it displays a graphic of the inside of the car and it had a red box over the drivers seat. When I moved the balance to the right, the box moved right as well. I read in the owners manual a brief mention about occupancy mode (if equipped). It would appear that is why it would be set that way, to optimize sound for the driver? Just wondering if anyone else found their system set that way?

6-speaker SYNC.

Treble: +3
Mid: 0
Bass: +1 to +2

Fade/Balance: 0.

Speed comp: 4

Though the tweeters at the A-pillars create a decent soundstage, the high frequencies seem a bit rolled off to me, and at lower volumes the bass is lacking. I think an efficient set of 6.5" speakers to replace the factory door speakers would bring my settings back closer to "flat".
