USB port not working

Hi everyone. Got my Focus 2012 Sport 150PS from the dealer in Cyprus. Unfortunately my usb port which is situated in the co-driver's locker next to an auxiliary input, seems dead.

I tried several usb sticks and hard drives, just to see whether it was a combability issue but got...nothing.

Another thing is that the usb port seems lose. Not stable at all.

I haven't spoke with the dealer yet but I was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue.

Also from what I've seen so far from pictures, most usb boxes are situated in the centre locker. Why is mine in the co-driver's locker?

Also I' m a bit anxious about it because it doesn't seem like an easy thing to fix...

yeap i guess so...the car is 4 days old...and the usb port never worked...

try accessing the USB manually (pressing buttons) instead of using SYNC. on mine i believe its either the sound button or media button, then look for select source and choose the one that says SYNC USB. if that doesnt work then just try turning the car completely off then back on.

Hi. The specific deck I have does not have the sync function. It just have an auxiliary button.

Not sure how it would come with a USB port then, without sync, theres nothing for it to be attached to...It may just be a power port for usb

Just take it into the dealer.
