UDP dyno

ok, just got back from the dyno after having a UDP put on. numbers show very little peak gain over my baseline, .7hp and 2.7 tq to be exact, but look at the extra midrange between 2500 and 5000

Peaks are good for marketing, but aren't that great for actual performance. "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords" did a nice write up about an engine competition that they enterred that had a pretty cool system for measuring torque and hp over a broad range of speeds and based the "best engine" decision upon that breadth of hp and torque. Great writeup, I highly recommend it.

Although, I will say I love the UDP because of its gains in the lower RPM bands! Well worth the money!

Haha my comp most be backwards I can never see anything uploaded onto photobucket but everthing on imagestation,wish my numbers looked loke that very nice #'s[thumb]
