What happened, did you give up on boost?

 

I think F2 makes a kit, but the FS kit is much more know and I think you can run a BOV on it. Give them a call!

 

F2 comes with a BOV/Diverter hybrid. I like mine. I have the F2 kit and am getting retuned monday.

Yeah I've been there. There isn't a whole lot of room. Move to the mainland.

 

with the focussport kit you can use a bov/dv hybrid turbosmart dual port. but yeah talk to focussport

 

Which kit is better?

I have looked at both F2 and FS and can't really tell. All I really want is around 250hp, unless that isnt safe on a auto.

 

you can do close to that at the crank with an auto..

there havent been enough people who have bought the f2 kit to compare kits and dynos yet..

i have the focussport kit and love it, and so do many many others

 

I personally like the fact that FS uses the GT28 turbo w/ Internal WG. That is the winner factor for me. I don't like External Wastegates personally.

I'll be putting my F2 kit on the dyno monday. I have a turboed 2.0L duratec. I'll post the numbers up.

i thought i seen an external on their picture. I was wrong. I also forgot that they used the Masterpower Turbo.

 

It is internal. They also off the garrets also. Same size FS uses. So if it is about price. F2 FTW since you can get the same turbo. I'm running the Master Power turbo. It spools hella quick.

so either way there both good turbo setups.

 

so both turbos are about the same. how dows that hybird bov sound.

and the fs is almost 4000 with intercoller. the f2 is 2800 for basic.

I'm getting my F2 kit tuned saturday. I would have had it tuned monday but I had to replace a hose and wasn't able to make it. I'll give you the numbers probly sunday. Both kits are built similar. mainly just a different turbo. The piping for the stage 2 is run the same way for both kits. However FS comes with rubber oil line which you have to pay more to upgrade. F2 comes with the SS lines. FS comes with a regulare diverter valve, F2 comes with the turbosmart hybrid that FS offers for extra $ which you can set to blow off or divert or both. F2 does offer remote tuning for those who don't live close by like FS. FS piping is steal which if not taken care of will rust, F2 aluminum which is also lighter for those who like to save weight. Thats all the issues I looked at before buying my F2 kit. So I saved a bit of money and still got a hight quality kit for my focus. oh and yes it does say the F2 is 39lbs injectors compaired to FS 42 however according to bosch who makes both sets the volume of fuel delivered by both is 42lbs. That was another thing I looked into. Also with the F2 set of injectors you don't have to splice wires for the new injectors. Just plug and play.

P.S. Also for got to mention the F2 kit comes with a dual stage boost controller. And the cheaper F2 kits don't come with tuning for those who would like to get there tuning else where. Kinda like FS does.

Stage 2. I got it before the other kits came out. I've been very busy or I would have had the car tuned awhile ago. I can't wait to get it tuned then see what it does.

It is the regular stage 2 with the tune. I bought the kit before the cheaper ones where avaiable.
