Where's the shot of the wagon?? And how's the SVT Engine holding up in the donor car?

Look forward to seeing your project move.

k i added a pic of the wgn...the engine seems good, it wanted to run but i think it had bad gas in it, it was sitting for 2.5 years, plus rats got into so we have to fix wires for sure...shouldn't be to bad though...my buddy fociboi03 is stripping it down this weekend

This is sweet! Ull be the first svt powered wagon around! Now there will be a handful of focus's nonfactory powered by svt running around! Ive only seen one sedan! and heard talks of a few others being put together as my self! But Im trying to go all out! I would love to have a svt powdered wagon! props

i know there is at least one svt wagon, it's on fj i think and they painted it the comp orange...but even before i saw the pics i've wanted to do this
wheels and bumpers seems reuseable.
great found! looking forward to see you get it all done!!
i'm not putting the bumpers on yet, just gonna put the drivetrain in first and then piece together everything else, my buddy who bought the car with me is getting the wheels and interior and whatever else is good
damn i want an svt sedan :(

but damn dude, this gonna be a sweet project. i would advise to take apart the motor to see the internals before starting. you wouldnt more problems to begin with. and seeing how fck up the donor car is, im assuming u got this for barely a steal.
i really think the motor is good good just it turned over but wouldn't run and it didn't make any bad noise...and yes we got this thing for cheap...the guy who had let his insurance lapse 2 weeks before he wrecked it and he still owed 5 grand on it...his lost but my gain

There is another SVT wagon, but I don't think the owner is a member. Someone posted about it a couple weeks ago.

And good luck with the swap. I've been tearing my SVT apart for the past 3 days. Keep running into snags like rusted cat bolts. But then again I'm only working on it for 5 hours at a time.

Ive tried looking on both sites and havent seen either this comp orange one above or any other svt wagon! Just like the sedan! I know of the one fellow ff on here that built one in NJ and then talk of others but no solid proof! I hope to later supercharge mine. I just wish some of my fellow ohioans would come help me build mine! heheh but that comp orange wagon is hot. love everything about it! that was gonna be my choice of color for my build but my 4 year son wins over me and screaming yellow it shall be. back on topic. grrrrr howd I get off!

I wanna see engine bay pics of both the wagon and the svt! one of the big mistakes I didnt do is get many pictures before my tear downs. silly me!

I like green as a color for vehicles myself. "Sublime" and "Sassy Grass Green" were my 2 favorite greens for Mopars. I'd have a green wagon, but Ford only offered weird colors of green in 05- light tundra, like pastel pea green was my impression. That RS green is fairly nice, similar to Sublime. SGG is just slightly darker.

Enough about that- I certainly hope the dash, at least the instrument cluster is going to the wagon.

There was a magazine a long time ago that had an SVT wagon made, and I believe I first became aware of it when it was going up for sale. It was overpriced IMO, although the body work (wide fenders) that accompanied the install was very professional. For a magazine, it seemed sorta wimpy to me just to throw nitrous on an SVT motor and call it done after adding space for more rubber. Now if it had one of Turbo Tom's SVT kits- that would've been something. They would've needed a much wider body kit though. LOL

Here's to hoping you need 245s or better.

thank you on those colors i will check them out...the car will be 2 toned...yes i will get the cluster...i just bought some of the 5 spoke svt wheels, maybe eventually i will buy the eap's...bought just keeping the stock svt bumpers...once i get this car all done: swap, bumpers, paint, then i wanna put it in magazines
as for the engine did you reset the fuel pump shutoff? it wont start if that tripped
yes we did...plus on the odometer there were just dashes so rats chewed some wires but should be easy to find...i dunno if that might be the reason
congrats on the project, my buddy did the svt swap on his wagon and he loves it so if you have any questions hit me up
thank you, i've thought about this for a long time and now finally get the opportunity to do it...i'm sure i'll have q's

Just a heads up, you might need to use the upper bulkhead/rad support from the parts car due to the airbag sensor. My SVT has it in the bulkhead and my old one didn't have a provision for it. Also, you might have trouble with the AC, I was told I could use the AC pump from my 01, but the line coming off the pump is completely different than the one off my SVT, the one from my 01 bends differently and gets in the way of the SVT header and PS line.

Oh and while you're at it, go to the dealership and buy 2 of the LCA ball joint pinch bolts. The one with the T50 head and 15mm nut. You'll thank me for this.
