I cant seem to find a way on how to remove my door panel. Why? So I can replace my speakers.

Moved you to interior chat.

But there are these little screws at the bottom and sides you need to remove.
Also another one hidden behind the door handle and with a small flat head remove the banana looking piece which is located under the door handle.

Sorry my explanation is bad. I am better at just doing it.

Then after all that, pull up the hole piece and it comes off.

ive had my doors off probly 50 times or more now....

first look behind the door handle, you will see a little disk about 1/2 inch diameter. Pry that out with a tiny flathead screwdriver

take out the screw behind there with a T15 torx

then go around the door and take out all the T15 torx screws, theres 8 i think

then look underneath the handle where you grab to close the door, you will see a small square hole. put your tiny flathead up there and pry outward, eventually you will get it just right and the insert will pop out.

get an extension and a 1/4" deep socket on your 1/4" drive ratchet and take out the 2 bolts under that insert

now put the window down (it is MUCH easier both on and off with the window down)

now you can pull out a little and lift on the door panel, it will get caught on the door handle but im sure you could work that out. Also use your tiny flathead to help you unclip the harnesses from the lock and window switches

install is the reverse. start by laying the rubber strip along the top of the door while holding the panel at an angle, like 15 degrees, then swing it down and start putting screws in

The plastic insert around your door handle is just held onto the rest of the panel with clips. You can pull it off, and easily around the door handle, by tugging it straight off the panel. Makes taking the whole panel off and replacing it WAY easier, with less chance of messing up your handle.

I thought I would offer this. These are the instructions that I got with my aftermarket speakers. I blotted out the merchant's logo, so I hope I'm still within FF rules and regs. I hope this helps you and any other FF out there.[cool] Just remember to roll your windows down before you start so you won't have to worry about doing it later in mid-removal.

The only special tool you will need is a door panel remover tool. Good luck and be careful not to break anything.[wrenchin] [loveff]
