I have a 2002 Ford Focus ZTS that has been stalling off and on ONLY when braking around a turn. A few months ago the stalling was almost a daily thing, but as time goes by it has gotten better, but it's still there. The things I've noticed is it depends on how hard I brake, if I brake to hard while making left turn on an incline, it stalls. If I make a hard brake on a flat surface while making a right turn, it's just fine. There is something unique with the left hand turn on an incline. There's times when the battery light comes on and it feels as if the engine is about to quit, but the then comes back to life and battery light disappears, this all happens in a 1- 2 second window. Also, it used to start right back up and stay idling. Now it still starts up fine, but it will die instantly if I don't rev it up and put it into gear quick to make it go.
