Rear 02 sensor comes out of the short engine harness. Front sensor comes out of gray connector next to the shifter underneath the throttle body. Runs over the transaxle. Splits off at crank sensor. Front 02 sensor ends at ckps and the power steering pressure switch wiring continues over the radiator support.

There is only 1 sensor sold by motorcraft and it fits in either the front or rear position. Unfortunately it is long. The rear sensor used to be a separate part number and shorter to clear the axle. The threads are 18mm. I put a 90 degree adapter on mine so it wouldn't be so close to the axle. Make sure to zip tie the sensor wires away from the axle.

Short harness for the front sensor. Connects to speed sensor, back up light switch. Green is the 02 sensor. Other 2 are the crankshaft position sensor and the power steering pressure sensor. Black. Green.

 

I would replace the harness instead of repairing.
