I was doing some work and decided to pull out my spark plug wires.
The rubber that goes around the spark plug itself is covered in an ovange powder or residue. The 2 left ones were the worst and the 2 right ones didnt have much.
I didnt pull out the spark plugs yet, i did enought work today and ill wait till tomorrow.
My car runs great as far as i know, this has happend to people with octane booster and additives.
I dont use them, i did put in higher octane last week 89 because the gas station ran out of 87.
Thats the only thing i can think of and my cam cover gasket probaly needs to be changed.
Let me know if there is any harm shown from the orange powder, im going to clean it and see if it builds up again along with new spark plugs.
