Hey guys,
I want another upgrade and need some ideas???
I already have.... JRSC w BBK, Steeda mounts up top, CFM dog bone, CFM 67mm TB, Steeda short ram intake, steeda short throw shifter, CFM 2 1/2" off road pipe, wrapped the headers, Spec stage 3 clutch and putting the Magnaflow 2.25 inch exhaust on thursday. Let me know if you have any other ideas????

Thanks

Wow, you wrapped all the headers? Awesome mod, heh...

Sorry, joking aside, you're maxed out as far as power goes with the JRSC. Porting the head is expensive and only gains about 10whp.

At this point upgrading suspension is a really good idea. Just a small note, it's called a "dog bone" not a "wish bone" if you're talking about the lower transmission mount.

If you don't want to drop a bunch of cash on coilovers, get the Eibach springs and shocks Pro kit. I'm also running SPC rear camber arms and they're pretty sweet. They let me reduce the negative camber that is caused by lowering the car.

I plan on doing these eventually, but the Eibach sway bar kit is also a great upgrade. The front is harder to put on than the rear, but it will help with handling and looks pretty. You want to get MOOG endlinks for the front sway bar to tighten things up even more.

Ha ha that was dumb of me! Guess I was paying more attention to the TV because I am waiting for the Stains game to come on and was watching sports center. Ha ha my bad but thanks for the ideas!!!

ummm get rid of that weedeater blower and upgrade to a Procharger :p

jk jrsc is ok i guess.

OK guys I know everyone hates JRSC but that things a beast!!! It blows everyone’s mind that I take for a ride, Cobra guys love it! I can beat most lightning’s and srt-4's I race. I know a Procharger would be better but that means I have to re-spend all the money for another supercharger. I don’t blame you guys for giving anyone who has a JRSC but it is what it is.

Loose the short ram cai and put a stock box with a K&N back on it. It worth more power to you. Dyno proven. Thats a pretty cheap mod and well worth it. Also, you wrapping the header was def a good idea. Its also a good idea to wrap further back. If you havent tuned it, that should be first

Do you have a dyno sheet for this? I've heard this 100's of times but I have never seen an actual dyno sheet to prove the claim. I'm only asking cause I've run stock box and SR with my setup multiple times and every time the SR feels more responsive.

Ya I think that will be my next change, what do you guys think about a heat exchanger? Blackoutsvt, i believe it is told me i could use one fron a 03 Cobra, true or false? If i can, how hard would it be to do it?

[rofl] Thats the third time Ive seen you tell someone to throw a V8 into it

Ever thought about doing anything with the suspension? Maybe I missed you talking about this but get a good suspension set up and put that power to the ground. I t will def help out a lot more and will also make the car more aggressive looking too.

Well, you have two choices: Torsen or Quaife (OBX is not a valid option in my mind).
I would have recommended the Torsen, but mine died on me. Right now it's sending 100% of the power to the passenger wheel. It sucks. Now, Torsen doesn't have a high failure rate and mine is a very rare case, but I'm not happy.

Quaife is more expensive and you get a lifetime warranty with it. I'm heavily considering it.

Sweet, I was leaning more towards the Quaife from before because I had heard alot of good things about them.

Oh, and i'll be at Lackland for basic training in about a month.

Anybody know about using a heat exchanger from a cobra? I dont know anything about this?

Ok guys, i'm looking for the same thing here, tryin to figure out where i can get more power, i want to stick with N/A, not one for the SC. but lookin for any other ideas, i'am loosing my lowered suspension back to my brother in exchange for the stock svt suspension, and eventually i will purchase another eibach lowering kit, but other than that, any sugestions?
