I know the title says "front end conversion", but what are you going to do with the rear?

What about the fog lights?

 

eventually get it chopped and fitted onto my wagon and as for the fogs the guy I bought them from didn't have them so I will have to look for some but not a huge deal right now

That's going to be nice. I love the Roush kit on wagons. Well, on the only other wagon I've seen it on (Superflea's).

 

Are those ebay fenders? If so hows the quality of them?

How do you modifiy the rear bumber to fit on the wagon?

 

I did not get the fenders off of ebay but they might as well be called that and I will do a comparison when I remove my stock ones. To make it fit the wagon you have to chop the ends of the stock and the roush and mold some pieces together.

 

may as well put in the side markers on the fenders now prior to them being put on after paint and all... euro sides would look nice....

 

not to jack the thread at all, but can i ask: what all would you need for strictly just a 05-07 "front end conversion"? not the whole thing? would you only need the front bumper, fenders, headlights, and grille? or more?

They did it all wrong, the headlights won't fit like that, they're backwards!!!

Only missing the hood and got off the phone with the guy who makes them and said since this week is the new year holiday so there closed so next Wednesday the hood should be made so this pushes back my plans of starting it this weekend but since I have everything else would it illegal to drive without a hood? lol [wiggle]

 

I don't know, I used to live in SD(Well, Lakeside) and would see cars pretty regularly without hoods...Maybe it's an East County thing...

Yeah I was so lucky to come across this kit for very little and its brand new never been installed. I have a saleen kit that would look better then this roush kit for your ride. [wiggle]

I haven't all of the way through the thread, but you are going to need a few more parts that are not pictured.

I did this conversion a few years back with my SVTF

Make sure that you have the headlight and turnsignal bulb sockets from an '05+ and you'll have to splice into the existing wiring to get it to work correctly.

You will also need the Washer Fluid Resivour (sp?) from an '05+. I tried to use the original, but no go.....

You'll need a little bit of extra washer fluid hose to get it to reach the sprayers from it's new location

And last, you'll need a new hood latch. Not REALLY needed, but without it, the lever will be a pain to find and get to every time you go to open your hood.

Very jealous[], I keep debating on doing what superflea had done but it's so expensive to get the parts up here into Canada. If I remember correctly you are using the ZX3 skirts? I'd really like to see a pic of those up against the car, I keep hearing they may hit the rear door (I know of the overhang that goes into the door). I was debating on your WW skirts and rear but can't make up my mind, heres a pic of my early Roush front on my wagon. Definatly keeping my eye on your progress can't wait to see the end result.

 

Finally finished, Had some set backs with the carbon fiber hood. It didn't latch right and zipped tied it so i I can get to work and they broke and smashed windshield. So oem ebay it is.
