yeah its the front one that went out. I picked up the Bosh one from kragen for 60 bucks but when i went to install it i found out that the tool I picked up with it wouldnt work. Darth, what tool did you use to get the sensor out? I picked up the 7/8 socket with the cut out for the wire and there is no way I can use it because its such a tight fit on top of the header. Did you just use a wrench darth?
 
Yep, just a wrench...15/16 I think...

I went to Nashville last night. When I got there, it starting going to shit. Barely running. I tried to nurse it home this morning and got about 120 miles out of Knoxville and she was dead. I looked under the car, while waiting for the tow truck and there was a lot of oil. So, it now at the dealer.
 
Hmmm, wow. Thats NOT good. Hopefully u didnt spin any bearing due to oil loss, or something. Hope all goes well, DEFINATELY keep us posted on what they say. I am very interested as to what happened..

I will. The oil wasn't too low. I put a quart in and it was right back up there. Plus, I run Mobil 1, so there is more protection, even if there isn't much oil.

It just isn't very inspiring to look under your car and see your trans covered in oil.
 
i tell you, some people just have horrible luck...and then some people shoot 100 bottles of nitrous and never have a quirk..i miss off of a cold start almost every time but it doesnt bother me because it runs strong, hope you get everything taken care of man

I will jst have to wait and see what the dealer says. It is going to suck driving another 120 miles out there to pick it up. At least I didn't get stranded when I home to MI for Christmas.

I am interested to see what the problem really is. I have been throwing parts at it, and I didn't figure it out. My friends seem to think it's in the cam timing.
 
I had a prob with cam timing, after all my headwork. It would have thrown a CEL IF there was ANY Prob with the cam timing. I was like a tooth off and it ran like shit, NO power, and a CEL saying " DOOD ur Cam Timing is OFF" lol, well something to that extent.

Well, the motor is shot. I started another thread. They said cylinder 3 is trashed. They are telling me I have no warranty, but I called SVT and they said I do. So, I will have to wait and see.

But, what is with this cylinder 3?
 
its the hottest running cylinder, but taht is extremely wierd, that is just all of a sudden tokk a shit!!
 
I Have The Stumble On Idle.....its Almost Like A Jerk In The Car At Idle.....at Wot Or Acceleration Its Fine (no Problems @ All).....put The Factory Tune Back On It As I Thought It Might Be A Problem With The Sct Tune From Wayne But It Wasnt, Does It With Sct Tune And With Stock Tune......just Started Recently And I Have Tested For Vacum Leaks Etc And I Dont Think Its A Leak.......sounds A Little Weird On Idle Also (i Have The Orp And It Sounds Like Its Hesitating, Doesnt Die But Sounds Like It Could)......the Orp @ Idle Is Brrrrrrrrppppp And Then It Will Stop Puuuuuup And Then Start Back Up.......(thats The Most Horrible Description I Can Give But It Will Have To Do)


What Are The Symptoms Of A Front 02 Going Bad (i Dont Think It Could Be The Back On As Its Got An Eliminator On It).

Any Help Would Be Most Appreciated?

Thats what getting me........when I first installed the SRI it gave me a CEL front 02, i never replaced it......that went away after about a week and has never came back......then after that having been gone for 5 months or so i put the orp on and have not thrown any codes....The orp has been on for a month and half and just started having the rough idle like a week ago but still no codes.....could be something much more major
 
I am just not sure where to start looking as to what else major it could be as I have no CEL or anything like that......I am totally lost as to where to start looking.....checked all the forums and got many ideas but not sure where to start.....kind of trying to deny to myself it could be something major
 
Well I Actually Made A New Thread In The Svt Perf Section But Was Reading Over This One Trying To Find Some Answers And Figured I Would Stick It On The End Of This One As Its Kind Of Related I Guess....just Beating My Head Against The Wall Trying To Figure It Out With No Luck :)

The only thing I wish I would have tried was Motorcraft plugs. I had something else at the time.
