Finally getting around to posting my Car from start to its current states since I do get a lot of messages about some of the mods I have done so hear we go.

This is Here bone stock the Day I bought her

First Mod was Plasidipping the Grill and wheels, I masked it off and put cardboard behind the grill so nothing got on the radiator, Helpful time on the last coat pull of the tape when the coat is still wet, I got a cleaner line that way.

and As you can see installed my Thule Aeroblade Roof Rack.

Next up was my custom rear Exhaust, I made a paper template and notched the bumper with a dremel and sanded the edges smooth to fit my new Dual Exhaust.

then Off to the Muffler Shop

Next was Ebay Pedal Covers which Ive been very happy with

Then it was time to get a little bit of lows, with my Steeda Springs and a MS3 Rear motor mount swap. I don't have it pictured but also installed Steeda Rear Sway Bar(hands down best handling improvement on this car) and Steeda Short Shifter Bracket.

Saved some weight by taking back seat bottoms out haha, I really did it to have some more space since my driver seat butted upto the seat buttom all the time when seats were folded flat, which they are 99 percent of the time, and I did a DIY floor matte, that has a break line where the seats fold up so if I need it I just can lift the front pieces off and the rear section stays in place.

Now it was time for some more Ponies with a a STEEDA CAI, its red cause I used K & N Oil on it

Then bought a F2 header off a FF member

Then it was Time to Paint the Valences, I wanted to give the Illusion that the car was sitting lower, and though it cleaned up the lines of the car. Also put on a 3d Wing from china

Next up I found a Killer deal on some Volvo Midir 18's wrapped in Pzeros and I swore these were meant for this car the Silver matches perfectly.

Planned Mods:
-Black HID Headlights (probably the ones from Ebay a few members have)
-Either Adjustable Dampers (if someone finally makes a set)
or K2 Coilovers and id sell the steeda springs
-Install my Tri Axle Shifter Bracket for extra 15% reduced shift throw
-LED Tails if someone makes a better looking set then ones from China
-Alcantara on the Headliner
-Black out the interior tan panels
-Wrap steering wheel in Alcantara
-Swap shift Boot with Alcantara
-Swap Shift Knob
-Some Recaros (From an ST would be awesome but most likely some knock offs haha)
-TUNE!!

If All my Pictures made your browser crash I consider that a WIN [gunfire]

Very nice looking FoFo

For the Recaro, it gonna have to get ST one or fron a company selling side air bag seats, as it is illegal to remove ur side airbags unless Racecar....LED euro style tails may ne coming fron RDC soon. And for coil overs go for V-Maxx coil overs [thumb]

My butt dyne says yes but I had header and Full Exhaust basically done at the same time, I bought it with the flex pipe from the member, Since i had exhaust made after that they designed it to fit but from other member on here that has it on his focus he said he needed like a 1 inch or so pipe to connect it directly to stock exhaust flange. Header bolts directly on the block you just need a O2 extender for the top sensor so it sits farther away from the header so you don't throw a CEL code

I love the build thread, good pictures but a great car ;) good thing the roof rack didn't get out of your hands!
I know i was thankful

Fantastic looking car man, I love the painted lower bits. Noticed that you got your car from the SoCal area; I work in the Irvine area.

If you don't mind, how much did it cost to get the valence/rocker panels/lower bumper painted? And what shop? I might be considering doing the same, but in platinum white of course.
My dad does collision repair and owns his own shop and they have been around over 26 years, He's Sherwinn Williams A+ certified and he said if you brought him all the pieces and removed them yourself and they were not damaged it be 400 and If you left your car there and he had to remove them it be 550. I can say you could find a cheaper shop but his paint work is honestly second to none.

If interested message me and ill send you shop info

Hopefully If I have time this weekend Ill be able to take my headlights apart and black out the chrome bezel, Id love to do a retro hid or purchase HID DRL headlights but Funds are tight and this wont cost anything for the time being cause my chrome headlights are really buggin me. Ill Probably upgrade the bulbs as well whats everyones favorite NON HID bulbs?

Hey man I love what you did with the car. I especially liked the front grill idea. I will probably steal the idea. I know you said pull the tape off on the last coat but wouldn't it pull up the previous coats anyway ? Just wondering how you did this because I have already plastidip'd my wheels spoiler and gas door. Experimented with a table and tape but it kept pullin up the edges when I removed the tape.

I honestly forgot ahaha I think it was 35ish percent I ordered one of those Pre Cut ebay kits, I looks ok from few feet away, but its no where near perfect, and I don't have tint on the hatch window cause I got creases in the tint trying to put it on.

Id go Lighter next time around cause at night it is kinda hard to see outta the sides, Im kinda happy the rears not tinted so backing up at nights a breeze. When I redo the tint or have it professionally done Ill probably go 45% -50% tint

Such a sick 2012 SE. It looks boss!
That's what I was going for haha.

This is kinda random But figured Id post it on here as well about buying Wings from Aliexpress.com

The one I got from that site(which I don't have link for the seller sorry) came with all the correct mounting holes but did need some drilling for the washer fluid and 3rd brake light, But for 110 shipped I didn't complain for it needing a little work. I was pretty happy with how level the surfacing was as well, But I still went over it to make it perfect. But if you just plasidip or flat black it you wouldn't be able to tell.

Well I finally did it, took apart my headlights with a heat gun and blacked out my headlight bezels.

If your thinking about doing this be ready to spend at least 6 hours. My dad and I went to down on the lights and damn it was a ton of work. I wanted to add a little custom touch instead of just blacking out the main bezel. As you can see I blacked out the lip of the headlight reflector and the triangle section between the two bulbs.

I really loved how the lights turned out it finally ties in the front end of my car and I'm completely stoked on how my car looks now. Now it's just time for more lowz and hopefully some k sport coilovers on next on the mod list
