Managed to turn off trip computer!

A friend of mine told me I could test it by holding in the trip computer button and turning the ignition 2 clicks.

I did this.

The word 'On' appeared. Then went to 'off'.

Now my trip computer only ever displays the temperature, can't select anything else!

Try doing it again?

We in the US do not have that, we only have a digital odometer and a single trip meter.

I tried and can't get it to go back to 'on' . . !

Its a Y-reg (2001) 2.0 Ghia, by the way.

If anything, unplug the negative terminal on the battery for 15-20 minutes. That should reset everything.

Managed to turn off trip computer!
