Someone copy these images and host them somewhere that doesn't time links out like Facebook does. This is such an easy job. Nothing against Tom as I think it is great how he continues to support the Focus community, but this is well within the reach of most DIY wrenchers. I am adapting a Zetec TB to my manifold but the process is the same regardless of unit. You may have to clock things differently, just look things over and make sure your clearances are OK before cutting or drilling.
Template for the throttle body adapter is made using plain paper. Just held it against the manifold's throttle body mount and pressed hard with my thumb.
A little bit of geometry to determine where the center of the bore is. Draw a secant line, find the center point. Draw a line perpendicular to the secant, crossing through the center. Repeat. The intersection of those two lines drawn from the two secants is the center point. Measure twice, drill once.
This is the Zetec throttle body gasket. From the factory, there is no gasket but I will be using my aftermarket 65mm which does use one. Here I am just making sure the rough size will work.
Basic size needed. The material is 1/2" thick ABS plastic.

No need for 12"x12". I ordered extra in case the first try didn't go right.
Rough cut with the saw. Going slow is key or the plastic melts. You can see some melted plastic on the blade.
All the holes center punched.
Drill the main bore using a 2.5" hole saw. That is 64mm, which give me 1mm of blending to make sure everything lines up right from my 65mm throttle body.
Hole drilled. Once again I had to go slow to avoid melting.
Mounting holes drilled. 1/4" bit and #12 countersink bit.
Holes deburred and checking to ensure that the countersunk M6 screws sit flush or a little below.

Rough plate mounted.
Working through orientation of the throttle body using the gasket. NOTE THIS IS WHERE YOU MAY HAVE TO ALTER THE ORIENTATION IF YOU ARE USING A DURATEC THROTTLE BODY.
Making sure the throttle body fits too. The TPS caused an issue that required some extra trimming.
Mounting holes for the throttle body added. Top left I was experimenting to see if I could use a threaded insert. Nope.
Plate resized to approximately what is needed.
Thin smear of RTV over each screw head, flattened with a razor blade. I shouldn't need this as there is plenty of room from the screws to bore edge for sealing, but better safe than sorry.
Zetec cable throttle mounted to 25.L Duratec drive-by-wire manifold.
Here you cann see the the through bolts I used and the extra trimming that was done in order to accommodate the TPS and connector.
Everything lined up nicely. The manifold is actually the smallest part. If I ever get the urge, I blend the whole thing perfectly smooth.
There you go. Took me a couple of hours including the time to figure it all out. Since I have done the figuring for you now, even if you don't have much fabrication experience, this should not take you more than an afternoon in the garage.
