looks great [thumb] is that OEM?

btw, is the cutout part where your tip goes, on the bumper itself, just flat? or does it have some kind of stupid molding that I can't see..... LOL.

yup, oem from i belive a 98-00 euro hatch. the bottom part was that black textured plastic like the stock side skirts/door gaurds, i had them smooth that out when i got it re-painted.

not real sure what your asking though about the molding.

I measured it before I cut and it was sticking out about 5"

I have a trubendz kit so I took that rear and middle section out. cut 2.25 inches on the end of the middle section over the subframe, and about an inch off the last section, I still have to try and shorten it another inch, I want it to sit flush with the bumper. I think if I loosen up the band clamps and hit it with a mallet it should push in enough, it started raining after i got everything back together so i had to hurry.

I cut as much as I felt comfertable cutting, cause the trubendz is slip fit, I didn't want the slip joint to only have a half inch holding it together. I'm gonna find out if an exhaust shop can flare out the pipe that way I can cut more possibly.
