ok so after my swap i noticed my valve cover is really hot. i can barely put my hand on it for 5 seconds. now my spi never got this hot. can someone let me know on this?

What was meant, is that oil is supplied to the cams to keep them lubed wich is thrown off during rotation. Through normal operation the oil heats up. This causes the vavle cover to heat up from the oil spraying/soaking the inside of the cover.

I have the same problem. LOL
i also have that problem and yes it's supposed to be that hot leke the other guy said its cause its a thinner material the valve cover is made of and the fact that it's covered in oil all the time. plus the zetecs run hot as it is. espically if u get a header. it will overheat if u let it sit still for more than 15 min. mine does it all the time

If you are over heating you have fan issues.
