Feel free to vote in where your SVT is for mileage.

I bit this idea from dirtbrown, but felt we needed a poll so we wouldnt have to go thru tons of pages to get to the stats. so here we go...

build #0001 @ 93k miles.

100K+...lol cause having a new motor means nothing in resell... that's why im hanging on to this car for a very long time.. i have to much money invested in to it to let it go for a few 1000...

106,000. I put a ton of miles on mu '04 SVT during the first three years and have tapered off to about 12,000/year for the past two years. In addition to the regular maintenance items, I've replaced shocks/struts, brake pads/rotors, timing/serpentine belts and tensioners. Still on the original clutch.

That makes no sense. Its smarter to do a poll due to the fact that this is the current mileage. No people are going to substantially jump from 40k miles to 100+ miles in a year. so the poll works perfect. this is to see who has high mileage as of now. capeesh?

I agree with dirtbrown in that a poll for peoples' mileage in reality is pointless because people drive their cars so it's constantly changing. As I said in my previous post, I chose the next highest tier because I'll only be in my current one for another month or two. And then in 6 months the option I voted for is inaccurate....because I will continue to drive my car on a ~100 mile per day daily basis

I personally don't think the poll is pointless at all. I guess you just need to view the poll as reflecting this general point in time, which is true of all polls ever created. It's a lot easier to just look at the chart to see where everyone is right now. I guess if later this poll gets out of date, like 6-8 months from now, you can always make a new poll.

Well if you argue against this poll, you are essentially arguing against every poll ever created. I mean, there's a poll in the "Official Poll" section of the forum that asks your age. I voted on that 6 YEARS ago. Think that's still relevant?
