if the tub is 2 cubic feet then i can run 2. muhwahahahaha.
how well do your amps hold up to high heat situations ( you cant have a lot of breathing room left in that trunk) or maybe since my subs will be tub mounted your amps may just do the deed if they wont overheat. idk, have you had heat issues seeing as you live in GA...

Haha. Actually, we have not had any heat problems. The amps will actually run at .5 ohm daily and not get warm. They are VERY durable and strong amps. Havn't had a return yet. If you do plan on getting 2 of the Elite series subs, the 1750.1 would be the amp to go with. You will need some charging upgrades for sure. But, if you choose to go with one, then you could run a 1000.1 @ 2 ohms which will give a strong 750 rms @ 2 ohms maybe more. The 1000.1 actually does closer to 1200 rms. It is the amp I am using.

cool it looks like i have a pla then. oh and a 5 farad cap would be more than enuff right? besides wiring upgrades and an optima yellow. im thinking of ditching my backseat since no one rides back there

If you go with a single and just the 1000.1, no need for upgrades honestly. I am running mine at 1 ohm with no problems. I will be getting a battery upgrade though, and I usually advise it.

yes but there are gangsta wannabe's with trucks up here. and i want to make the little wankers cry when i out db them. ( it's in my biuld plans anyway) besides your setup is the shizz.

Ah, I gotcha. Well, since you have a hatch you have an advantage. You run 1000-2000 true rms, not many will be as loud. Some guys have no clue what a tru 1000 rms and quality subs will do.

Really? Your not having bad voltage drop? Do you have a ZX3 or 4? DOHC? I know the Sundown and RD amps are super efficient, but I didn't think our little alt would handle it. And I'm not going through the hassel of replacing it. PITA! What is your voltage staying at?

I should have the same alt then. I knew it was a decent alt for sure. The Sundown and RD line amps are VERY efficient. I havn't had a problem with either yet.

now to work on the empolyment end of the problem then all will be good with the world
