I’ve been experiencing an issue with my headlights for like two months and wiring is not my forte so this is almost like rocket science to me. I had a spin out from hydroplaning which disconnected the battery from all the jerking around and whenever I reconnected the battery wires my low beams have only a few lights that will work and they are very dim. My high beams still work but over time I’ve noticed that they also are starting to dim out. I was thinking a possible frayed ground wire but there is so much in the headlight assembly i don’t where I would start. Any suggestions?

If whatever spin out you did disconnected the battery, I'd be looking at your wiring/ connections, ect. If you don't know what to look for, really best to take it to a pro that deals w/ electrical problems.
The battery ground cable has a collection of other wires connected to it. One of those was jerked loose or broken off. After you find that replace the battery tie-down strap.
