Very nice... whats the max boost you can put on your engine with the internals as they are? Whats ur stock compression ratio? And has your GSR friend ever been to the track? If so, whats he run?

hell yeah man, very nice/clean ride. My seats look like urs (in my hatch) but the shoulder braces dont come out as far and they are straight black. Those seats sure do hold ya in place dont they?

Hell yeah. It sucks climbing in and out though. I get funny looks all the time getting in and out. It's funny as shit. Sparco is the best seat to have. I love it.

with stock internals he could raise his boost 0on the jrsc to about 10,,,,but still good race. gsr engines are awesome,,make sure u keep modding because ur boy will toast you,,,good kill though
dont worry civichatch, some people here are ignorant,,,,i know u know ur shi*...high end hondas defintel;y respond well to just I/E

Oh shit I didn't see ur other thread. Uhhhhh the most I think is 8 PSI. I can get a boost upgrade which includes a pulley and belt. My buddy wants to run it at the track, but it is so packed we can only run once. It sucks here. As far as the comp. ratio, I can't remember that well. I will find out though and let u know. Now about the GSR run, I know he ran the shit out of it b/c I could here his VTEC kicking in. Everyone thinks I am B/S-ing about this race, but I swear we kicked it. I don't run much at all and I am not some "badass" that's Fast and the Furious, but damn it I will at least run if I think I have a chance. My car sits for weeks at the time in my garage. So she doesn't see the light of day much. I take care of it well.

thats awesome dude, keep up the modding. I want to hear more about the progress of ur car. The tracks are the same here on open run nights (wed and friday). Theres like maybe one line of muscle cars and 3-4 lines of sport compacts.

P.S. - ur race with him is VERY believable [thumb]

lol... same here. I also love when someone rides shotgun thats not used to my seats and they just straight up fall into the seat lol good stuff. I took my car into get my oil changed and this old porter (seriously old, like 60+) just looked at my seats before getting in, looked at me funny, fell into the seat. The funniest part was watching him get outta it after it was moved. Needless to say a younger, smaller guy brought it back through the service bay lol

LOL... that's funny shit. I only have one seat as you saw I guess. I paid a lot for it too. I want to finish my interior with Sparco, but sure as hell someone will jump in and spill a drink on it. That's what I hate about having nice shit, someone always screws it up. Nopi was the cheapest price for the seat, brackets and belt. I paid like 600 for everything. U think that was too much?

Well u can tell who is B/S-ing or not. Like a Focus beating a twin-turbo Supra. I saw that thread once on another site. That was 110% BS! I mean damn he must have pulled something out his ass!! Oh and by the way my name is Josh.

not sure about that. My seats were given to me, they came outta my best friends GSR so I never had to price them out.

Yeah, the first WEEK i put my seats in I had to take this ditz with us down to Miami for some races and not 5 minutes away from her house after we got back she dropped a friggin cigarette between her legs! Luckly Im planning on re-upholstering them soon. But if I just got them re-done, someone woulda been paying a very nice fee + the cost of my time and aggrivation lol

yeah, every forum has their fair share of BS stories... mines Chris, and the SVTF owner (my g/f, the one in my sig) is Jessica.

is it a 4/5-point harness belt? If so, do you have it hooked up to a bar in your backseat?

Well u can get Sparco fabric from a dealer and do it yourself, I think. I am gonna change the color from blue to grey. I just haven't done it yet. Blue was the color when I bought it. It just doesn't go with the green and silver. U were lucky to get them free. Luck happens to everyone except me.

whats up JFocus01 yeah i live in SC I wouldnt mind takin a trip out that way some time but i dont know when because anderson is even like about two hours from where i am so it would be quite a drive. but just PM me and keep me informed

It is a 4 point. And the weird things is, on a hatchback Focus there are little hooks for a child seat or something in the backseat. So i went to the hardware store and got some clips and clipped it to the child seat hooks. Hell it is stronger than anything else in there.

thats good. I was just making sure you didnt mount them to your seats. People who are new to putting those in and dont ask have mounted them to their seats and im extreme circumstances, have been decapitated when getting into a wreck. But one thing I heard on a very technical muscle car site is that you should mount the harness either level with your neck or slightly elevated. I cant remember why they said it shouldnt be mounted lower than your neck. You should check on that.
