Hi guys,

I'm looking for some ideas.

Who's done some mods after software like injectors, turbo, fmic etc and what power you making.

Feel free to post pics and experiences.

There is hardly any information on performance after software so I'm looking to start a thread.

Hi Punda,
I have installed the RS intake and done the snorkel delete like many others.
The car has some serious torque, love the diesel, and response is great.
Since there the is DPF I don't want to go overboard unless I were to remove it and delete it with a tune.

The only "software" tune I'm running is the TDi-tuning box CRTD2. It basically tricks the car into increasing fuel rail pressure. I bought mine second hand for $70, it is sold here at RRP$849, I would not pay more than $100 since it's not a proper remap. Gives the car a bit more punch but would be wary setting it high, even on the setting of 10, previous owner had it on 25 it feels more than enough.

My average fuel consumption is 7.0L/100 km rare freeway usage.
If I drive on the freeway for maybe a 1/4 of the time I can drop that to 6.1L/100 km.

Difficult to find any turbo upgrades or people who have done then but for an experienced turbo fitted it is probably easy.

Have not done the exhaust, the intake is loud enough and satisfying for me.

Hi Tom,

Software as in a remap using the original Delphi ecu.

I used my kess cable to get the file off spend many days finding addresses and creating a map pack and comparing the file to other cars that use the delphi ecu. Then once I had the map addresses I needed I tuned it loaded the file and made some power. Seen a massive gain in performance and better economy. With a slightly increase in boost and fuel keeping the rail pressure stock and adjusting limiters for smoother and constant power as well as turning the egr off.

I will look into doing the airbox mod and dpf delete is coming soon just want to remove it first then will sort it out in the software.

I'm looking for ideas and how much power has been extracted from these motors so I can get an idea of how hard I can push it and what mods to do to get the most of the motor.

From what iv read so far alot of people go for tuning boxes or a generic map to get around 180/190hp. But I honestly feel these motors can push our around 230hp with minimal mods well at least that's where I'd like to get mine

^^^ dont know a lot about them but I know for trucks, removing particulate filters (you get black smoke tho), exhaust and bunch of things can increase hp and torque
