I am doing an Egr delete on my 2000 focus ... zetec. There’s 3 hoses all together that I don’t know what to do with once the egr and egr pipe that goes into the exhaust manifold are removed. The pipe that goes into the manifold goes right next to where the thermostat housing is and forks off into 2 smaller her pipes that are connected to 1 vacuum line each, and then goes to the dpfe. Then the one other hose comes directly off the top of the egr valve and connects to a plastic thing right next to the dpfe. Not sure what it’s called. But I have no clue what to do with these hoses once the egr valve and egr pipes are removed. Here’s pics.
1 connects to 1
2 connects to 2
3 connects to 3 ..
Please help

Block every single one off, I could tell you exactly what each goes to and what it is but no need, simply block them off of the parts that are not removed, there is no plumb one to another or anything like that.

EGR vacuum regulator...........the two smaller metal lines you mention are exhaust gas high and low, there is a washer in between the two in the bigger metal pipe; it has a small hole in it. One small line then gets full exhaust pressure as a reference point and the other gets exhaust pressure modified by intake vacuum and the restriction of the washer on the other side.

A delete has you plug both of those but you will always get a code doing it.

Blocking EGR may lower power as the EGR on allows more timing advance and the computer figures that in. With no EGR timing should drop slightly as the knock sensor works more but you may still get some pinging.
