Wanted to post up the progress on my build... I got some interest in it over in the GTR thread so I wanted to post up. This thread is VERY pic heavy.
I chose the NA route basically cause it’s the road less traveled upon. My old svtf was turboed and I sold the kit off it and sold the car. Picked up my black car and wanted to do something different. Figured a 400Whp NA/N20 would be very interesting combo…so let the games begin
Specs are:
SVT block,
SVT crank,
Eagle 4340 H Beam rods,
JE domed Pistons,
ARP main studs,
Balanced to hell and back,
decked block,
Zetec Head gasket,
Custom Ported head from Competitive edge Racing Cylinder heads,
softened chambers for heavy nitrous,
Stock SVT cams FOR NOW,
VCT delete
Venom Cam Gears
Custom sheet metal intake from jim on here,
custom Nitrous Fogger kit,
Daytona Sensors progressive nitrous controller,
and later a custom stepped long tube header
Custom powder coating by C2 powder coating in Bradenton
Compression measures out to 13.1:1 compression and going to be daily driven on E85. Using stock SVT pump and going to have a 1 gal fuel cell in the back for the nitrous kit
