My door sensor on the driver side door is messed up to where it will randomly go off and beep saying the door is open while im driving and it clearly is not, it gets rather annoying so i was wondering is there a way to disconnect the sensor on the door? its a 2000 Zx3 if that helps.

Use a hex bit and unscrew the assembly on the door jamb. Then simply unplug the connection. Both of mine crapped out. Just remember you won't get a warning if you leave the lights on. Or, you can put the passenger side switch on the drivers side.
It looks something like this. It'll take about 5 minutes.
