I had the same question about those and the ksport kontrol coilovers a while back but never got much feedback. Let us know how they look!

from what i remember reading ksports = D2. lots of good initial reviews but a few blown shocks here and there.

 

yea but every coilover blows shocks regardless of the brand..i found some ksport kontrols for $845!

 

There has to be someone on this forum with this coilover system.

 

^^i saw an old thread where some guy had pictures of his D2 setup and it looked BAD..as in terrible. tires were rubbing like crazy. it looked just plain wrong.

Why not some h&r coilovers? About another $175 but no worries about them. I almost bought some ksports but pulled out of the deal.

 

I was looking at H&Rs when I first started looking for coilovers. They don't offer dampening adjustment so I looked into D2. So far I like everything that I have read about D2s. Plan on ordering mine tomorrow.

 

I'll most likely slam mine down for a little bit but not crazy low to wear my tires rub.

Oh I will. Won't be for a while till they get installed. Lots of changes this spring.

 

just to let some of you know if you decide on Ksport coilovers your going to have to run there camber plates. They wont work with others like kmac or LCR.

I ordered them from a company on ebay. They are being shipped straight from the manufacturer.

 

The coilovers arrived yesterday. Ordered on the 3rd and they came from Tiawan. I'll write up a review later today on them. I can't wait to install these!

First thing I have to say is that these things are very well built! Very high quality. Don't look like they were made in Taiwan.

Anyway, packaging of these was great. Cardboard, bubble wrap, and foam holding them in place. They made the long haul from Taiwan.

Again, these look and feel like great quality. Made from high quality materials. Very sturdy. Nice and thick sidewalls, threads look perfect.

Cannot wait to install these. Waiting to get a few more items then they well be installed.

If you don't mind how much were they?

 

I have the ksports on my SVT. Little harsh, but I knew they would be. Handle great I love em. Just takes a while to get them dialed in. So take your time.
