hi all, i have a problem with the mrs focus, and where better to get some advice than on here, well basicaly every now and then when she comes to a junction it cuts out, stalls, also the mileometer cuts out so you cant see how fast your going, are these 2 connected, any ides what could be causing the cutting out, i took it to my local garage and they cleaned out the idle valve (i think thats what it was) but no difference, thanks in advance. its a 99 t plate, and its done 82k, but could be a bit more due to the speedo failing now and then

Sounds like the beginning of the alternator going bad. Have it tested to make sure that it is still working properly.

That or injector problems or maybe a sensor or something.....sound like something stupid and easy to fix
