Injected Engineering is another one I've seen added to the forum, they look like they do a good job as well.

FSWERKS and a few others sometimes have more canned tunes.

 

1turbofocus aka tom does custom tuning for life(of vehicle) definitely worth the price, haven't gotten an updated tune lately, which i need to do.

I know he probably get's annoyed with my million and one questions all the time, but he's really helpful and puts up with it.

I dont think Injected Engineering does tuning for the MK3 NA anymore. Right now Tom at Focus power and Terrie at Unleashed and Mike at Rebel Devil are your best options unless you can find someone local to you that does tuning. Also, Mike at RDC only does the 5spds at the moment but DCT tunes are coming he says.

Also have inhouse DynoJet Dyno that my tunes where tested on for more reliable out comes between tune testing and I have been tuning the NA MK3 years longer then any other MK3 Tuner

Forgive my naivety but to get a tune, looking specifically at your tune atm Tom, would I have to bring my car to a dyno or how exactly would you be able to make the tune specific for my car without putting it through it's paces?

 

I send you a tune and a datalog list to datalog with , you load the tune and go do me a datalog and you email me the datalog , then I look over he log and send you back a Custom Tune , All very easy to do

I also can remote into your laptop and help with any issues that come up , makes things much easier

If I go to your site I see nothing saying what a E tune is this e85 tuning ?

If I go to your site and click life time tunes it shows for 25.00 , very confusing is this after buying your 399.00 flasher ?

Your 140.00 tune that comes with life time tuning or for mods installed at time of purchase ? wasnt clear either ?

Yes his tunes are great and bring a world of difference to the car but in the month I've been working with Tom, any time I contacted him asking for a tweek or a change I usually have an updated/new tune in about 24 hours! You factor that in with his unlimited updates, his price is quite a deal!

For my car, it was a noticeable difference with it's performance after Tom dialed in all my bolt-on parts that I had changed out. Car feels significantly stronger and will get moving and up to speed quicker than I imagined.

How much did your tune cost you and any facts like hp or 0-60 times you could tell me?

 

@1turbofocus Tom, can the x4 calculate these time runs/ 0-60 or 1/8 1/4 mile runs?? Or will you need to datalog it then look at time stamps at specific speeds?

 

No it wont do that , the X4 is more for Tuning , Flashing Tunes , Going back to stock Tune , Datalogging , reads and clears CEL

My opinion after spending a LOT of time and money with E Fuels is , PUMP E Fuels are pure garbage , they dont add any performance to the Focus and cost you 20-25 % in MPG but yes I can tune for them

Sorry to raise the dead with this post, but in my experience... ymmv... You have to buy the e85 pure racing ethanol fuel in 55 gallon drums to see any improvement. The e85 at the pumps mixture can be anywhere between 15 and 85 percent ethanol + additives, etc. And consistency between batches at the pump is unreliable... I have a 2015 FF se with the 2.0l flex fuel and have some big plans for it. Now all i need is a 2017 FF ST 2.3 standard donor car, airbag deployment insurance total for the engine, transmission, and center console swap.
