I am looking at installing the Wideband O2 power into either the 15amp rear lamp fuse or the 25 amp power window fuse.
I am looking at current draw and the AEM gauge manual says:
Gauge:
Supply Current (Nominal): 1.3 Amps
Sensor:
Initial Warm-up Time: Less than 20 seconds
Heater current 1.2A @ 12V
Am I to read this that the gauge really dissipates 15+ watts or does most of this go to the O2 sensor + the additional 14 Watts to the O2 for heater? i.e. on initial warm up the gauge pules 2.5 amps, 1.2 of which goes to heater and another (large % goes to the O2 under nominal conditions) and a few tenths is used in the gauge.
Either way should I am guessing either tie would provide enough power with out tripping the fuse. worst case upgrade the 25 amp window fuse with a 30 amp...
