youll need a ford wiring harness and antenna adapter, and you should be good to go.

Is the ford wiring harness particular to that deck or just any ford wiring harness and antenna adaptor?

 

you need a ford wiring harness thats specific to ford cars, it should be 2 rectangular plugs one black and one grey. Match the wires that come from your new HU, Use butt connectors or solder the wires together. And then your good to go.

everything skypilot has said is golden. you'll need a trim kit too... unless that was part of your "make up brackets". you can usually find one walmart, if not, you can on ebay. just make sure you get the right one (year and make specific)

i put a pioneer avic d3 in my 03 svtf but im not sure if our dash is the same or not. i had to use a dremmel make the unit fit.
