Can volume be adjusted other than via steering wheel?

We have Titanium hatch, with MFT. Sometimes the wife likes to turn down the radio volume if it gets too loud while I am driving. Or vice versa.
However, I am unable to find a way to adjust volume other than by either the little thumb button on the steering wheel, or via "hand free" voice command. It's really not hands free, because to invoke it, the "voice commands" switch must be pressed. Both of these controls are steering wheel mounted, which makes it difficult, or at least very unwise, for anyone but the driver to operate.

Am I missing another volume control that lies hidden somewhere?

Do people really not read the owners manuals anymore or did the salesman not go over the car with you.

BTW
The little round nod on the console would be a nice place to start.

Follow the red arrow and use the knob.

Cut the guy a little slack, if you actually look in the owners manual the Sony radio isn't listed in it at all.
As for the volume, try turning the knob (looks like a 3/4" sized black button) in the center.

This is why I'd probably never ask a question a public forum that could be answered by any driver of any car in history.

I'm not trying to be rude with this...but you didn't know what the giant knob in the middle of the stereo would control?
