Why?

I don't think you have to justify the ride height of your car to anyone; its your car [thumb]

I think what you've done looks pretty good; and I'm normally not a huge fan of the "stance" stuff. I'm glad you don't have massive amounts of camber.

Car looks great, keep doing what your doing. Makes me miss my tan sedan!
Thank you! With the camber, if I can help it, I would like to stay away from it. I understand the need for it as far as going lower, but there are other ways to do it which I think look better. I think massive amount of camber is interesting to look at but not something I would do.

I mean running more camber definitely tucks the tire to help you run lower which I understand. Seems some opt for the fender rolling and less camber. To each their own cause we all modify our cars differently.

I just don't think there is a set of "rules" to say how much "poke and stretch" someone can have based on their ride height or other variables.

But seriously, I appreciate input. But honestly I like it the way it is. The coilovers are adjustable, and I make use of it. It sits lower for shows and big meets. I don't have the money to have a separate daily driver. And I am not going to have it slammed 24/7. I work delivering food. That is not a slam-friendly job.

I wasnt trying to bash. Id love to see pics of it slammed when you do have your next show.

May I suggest color-matching the grille ring? I like the white much better than the satin black, BTW.
I thought about this. Still thinking about it, but for now black is better than the chrome underneath it.

No worries man. There is a meet this Friday and I may bring it down for it. If I do, pics will follow.

So I went to C&C Houston earlier this month and scoured through what seemed like thousands of pictures by dozens of photographers trying to find any pictures of my car. Finally tonight at a meet someone said "Hey did you see your car on noOneFresher?" I had not, and investigated. Here are the two pictures I found and the associated quotes by the photographer:

"The Ford Focus not a car i would think of as a leader of the modification gang and especially a 5 door sedan, but “Goldilox” has some serious stretch with some nice lows. A nice combination"

"I wouldn’t like to parallel park this with rim poke like that!"

I just get very excited when people I don't know take pictures of my car. Maybe I just crave attention.

Congrats Pat ... definitely keeping the notch high for the Ford Focus community.

I'll stick with playing with the AutoX crowd and bumping them around. hehehe
