another day.....another install, another mod....

well ford emission sytesms can lick my 9, this is the second time ive changed headers, and while it was easier than the last time, i still hate the EGR and 02 systems.....cant wait for the SCT or some custom burning[] , but im halfway through installing a FS ACIII header, no ACIII installed yet though, not till tuning, will let you know in a bit how the FS race header compared to the FR shrty and high flow RT cat[thumb]

everythings all done, fixing to go out for a test drive, definate pros for the race header
1)install is about 3x easier
2)beefier tone
3) hoping for more power, will know in a minute when i drive it

well the sound of the FR and RT i like better, top end of the FS seems to be improved, but lowend seems to be dropping as well, car needs tuning!

So.........is the FS race header a lot louder than the FR/RT combo ?

4-1 style sacrifices some low end for peakier power. how loud is it? ill have full exhaust with the FS header in the next week or so. im probably gonna get a resonator

its more robust, but its really not as loud as i thought it would be, the sound is different for sure, i think definately the FR/RT yielded a more pleasing sound, its still deep w/ the Borla, just different, hard to explain, it does need tuning though, the cam timing i had b4 worked ok w/ the FR/RT but it doesnt seem to like the FS w/ this timing, i think the problem is theres no turbo on there []

u know mofo. to keep you from having to go through all the trouble of installing that ACIII you can just sell it to me, and ill even give u 100 more than what u paid for it
