Why would ford make a tape deck, with a button that says "CD" on it...when theres no cd deck or disc changer...i haven't the origional manuals...so i'm just wondering if there was a cd changer at one time, or they just felt like making a tape deck with a cd button [???]

yep a cd changer

i think 2000 was the last year ford stopped putting tapes in thier cars and added a cd player

na, they kept using tape/cd dual combo's in mustangs and explorers in 2003.

i guess it must be time for me to find a cd changer then....for cheap if i can

yep used the same head unit so you could add the changer as a option

they had tapes in some 04 foci as well
