Airbag light code

I got into a car accident, which caused my airbags to deploy. I got new airbags and a control module. After installing everything, I still get an airbag light as follows:
Flash--Flash-----Flash--Flash... then it goes on solid.
Any one knows what this code means.
Thanks

Did you try resetting the computer by disconnecting the negative cable from your battery for about 20 minutes? If so, take it to someone that can hook your car up to a code reader and find out more specifically what the code means. That will narrow down things quite a bit.

yeah i had the battery disconected over night... the ecu checks the airbag system everytime you turn on the car so even if i clear the code it will come back on.

I believe it is flashing you the code "19." I believe this translates into a "proper" code of B1919. Now, I am far from an expert on airbags, but for what it's worth, I have read that this code is often is cause by a bad clockspring in the steering column.

The 22, which translates to a B1922, can sometimes be caused by loose connections or faulty wiring under the seat.

As I said, I have little experience with air bags, so take this as more of a thought starter than precise diagnosis.
