lmao @ AMC..... the brand i get the most bad batteries from and will never in my absolute life ever buy one ever again is Napa.. bought a car, battery was bad the dealer replaced it with a NAPA and 9 months later it s$^# the bed to. when i went to warranty it from the dealer they told me to go to NAPA.. i showed them the receipt from the dealer showing the serial number they said unless your the original customer your SOL and the battery i had did not match the one on the receipt part number wise but the serial matched... it was also a high 12v no cranking amp battery (thats one of the ones under my bench and its now uhh 11 years old or so and STILL at 12v+ and couldn't start a riding lawn mower)

2 brands i will never support..

Hassell's Automotive.. you sold me a focus that pissed gas, bad brakes, bad battery and called it certified.. you were nothing BUT a hassle and you STILL charged me $8600 for a 2001 in 2007.. you can go to hell to...

starter is under the car at the back of the engine, passenger side the cable runs from the battery down (both + and -_ where the - splits and connects directly to the transmission lug the + continues about a foot and a half more to your starter.

Starters brushes were basically gone. Got it rebuilt and a new solenoid on it for 50 bucks. Starter removal and install is a bitch but I got her done. Thanks guys
