2.0 spi engine swap. PCV Valve Problems

Ok guys, I have a 1999 Mercury Tracer (same as Ford Escort) with an 2.0 spi swapped from a Focus from what I can tell from pictures online. I have low engine idle problems where the oil light comes on at a stop, engine vibrates and shakes real bad at stop, and speratic idle speed. I figure my problem is the pcv valve after looking at my setup but that's where the problem comes into play.

From what I can tell I don't have a PCV valve inline at all. The valve cover on the escort spi and focus spi are different and plumbed different so whoever did the swap didn't plumb this right. I need to plumb this right and either hook up my pcv valve correctly or add one, I'm not sure which. Ive attached pictures.
In one picture I have arrows labled 1-4 that I will use to discuss this.

Arrow 1 is plumbed straight to a small air filter. I believe it needs to be plumed to the air intake filer at Arrow 2.

Arrow 3 is plumbed from the Valve cover to the Air intake manifold. I think that I need to go from the manifold down to around arrow 4 where I believe the PCV valve is supposed to be but isn't from what I can tell.

That leaves me wondering where Arrow 3 is supposed to be plumbed to. Also where does the end of the PCV line hook up to down by Arrow 4.

Please help me sort this out I am very confused by all of this. I will try to get better pictures if needed.

Look at the location of the valve at 30 seconds into the vid. Your #3 location, the other end of hose goes to air (intake) manifold.

#1 can be left that way with filter on the end or the line run into the air filter box.

#4 has nothing to do with PCV at all, that's the EGR flow supply fitting, you are confusing zetec motor type PCV location with where it is (#3) on yours. The difference in the early (Escort) and late SPI (Focus) is that there is no breather down there like the zetec has.

Pic not clear enough to tell what #2 line goes to, possibly where your #1 needs to go.

Whatever the model car, there are only TWO large vacuum hoses to the intake manifold to identify.

One to the brake booster, and one for the PCV hose from the engine crankcase.

Identify one, and you know which is the other.

Sorry, from the Pic I can't even see where the brake booster hose actually connects to the intake, just see the booster end of it.

Focus version has heater hoses running to it as well for temp. control of the intake, I can't even confirm if your Tracer uses that system as well for sure.

Just tried to add a hint for the general type hoses to look for, can't determine type & where they originate/terminate by the pictures.

I accounted for all 4 things you numbered there, we can show you but we can't understand it for you...............your post #5 shows you are getting even more confused.

And I answered your post #3. Before you asked it.
