I don't think I'd go for too radical of a drop, either. Our roads suck, pothole strewn in the winter, summers aren't much better. I think if I do a tire/wheel package, I'll simply get the SVT springs and that'll give me the 3/4" or so drop I'm looking for. Maybe I'm just being a lil paranoid and a bigger drop, say 1 1/2" wouldn't be so bad, I really don't know.

More newbs. Welcome them to the Crew, I'm to lazy to do so.

Hey Massive, you wanna join the Crew?

I saw a camoflauge Focus today! I was driving down Michigan Avenue and in my mirror, I see this car with camoflauge on the front end. He gets up next to me and I realise it's a focus. The only thing that was camoed was the front end. It was all black, obviously no badges at all, but anybody could tell what it was. It had a manufacturing plate on it as well. You can't see much under camoflauge, but they must have some minor or major tweaks in for a upcoming year.

On a different note, did the spring kit just come out for the 06 like just this week? I was on Eibach's website, found a part number, eibach said belle tire is a distributor, so I figured I call em and see what I'm looking at price wise. The part wasn't even in the computer yet. So the guy couldn't even give me a price. If I buy from them they will install, if I don't they won't install. Either road I take, I figure I'm looking at give or take $400 total.

I know nothing about suspension. Engine stuff, I can usually do, but I have never done suspension before. Basically, I know how to follow directions.

Sure man [thumb]

Duffman355: I forgot to mention too, in case you didn't think about it...don't forget your speedo will be off now with the larger diameter tires! I got ticketed at 64 and my speedo only read 60, before I adjusted the tire size on my Xcal 2.

You know, I thought about that today when I was doing like 85 on I94, and I thought to myself, I gotta be doing close to 90 and needless to say I slowed down. According to the tire calculator, the speedo is only like 1.5 mph off at 60. Interesting.

That equates to like 2.3% off. Thanks for the heads up, I gotta bounce, be back later[wave] (probably)

Does anybody work on their cars then selves? springs and struts are easy!
Back in my heyday of racing Mustangs, I Removed/Replaced or Fixed:

Struts
Springs
Intake Manifolds
Exhaust
Brakes
Rear Axle Assembly

But today ....

I don't even bother to change my own oil.

Must've burned myself out!

LOLOL

The springs like just came out... they are brand new to the Eibach line-up and if the company by your house calls Eibach... they can order from them...

Yeah, I'm pretty busy tomorrow, but I'm going to shop around and see what I can do.
