Since we are on the topic of Gloss-Coat. I've used it on other vehicles before but hadn't put it on the Focus until now. Looks OK I think...

Now that's one glossy relfection! I'm sold.

Little before and after of some paint rejuvenation I did this afternoon. I painted the rear of the car and where I blended it was not so smooth. A little wetsanding and polishing later, I will no longer cry for having to stare at it every time I pump gas..

I forgot to grab a before of the trunk lid, but it was way worse than the rear door.

All with my new Chemical Guys arsenal!

About 2 days ago, I washed, clayed and sealed my focus! It was a great experience since I have never before clayed and applied a sealant.

Took me about 4-5 hours

The sad thing is that I dont have a garage, my car is outside 24/7 in public parking spots, I found a shade on the back of a big building near my house, morning hours, and began the procedure.

What I did.. washed then directly without drying I clayed it, then went back and washed it again, dried it and applied 1 coat of POWERLOCK. It was super easy to apply and to take of, since Im an amateur.

I dont know if I did a good job or not, I did not have much time..wanted to apply a 2nd coat but the sun was catching me up.

Those wheels look great Riley. I'd lower your car. No black wheels,,,,,huh!!!Leave them like that or if you want to do something, strip the paint off them & polish them up.
