Just trying to get an idea of what is better in the long run. I won't be doing any crazy driving/racing . I just want a good clean look that gives some added handling. I was looking ad the godspeed Coilovers for about 650ish and that is only a few hundred more than the ford setup. I have No experience with Coilovers however and do not really know how they feel or how long they last compared to a standard strut spring setup. Thanks in advance .

I am not familiar with the Godspeed but i will just assume its a budget setup based on the price (lesser quality materials and dampening over higher budget options.)

If you are just looking for increased handling with a mild drop, the FRPP stuff is your best bet. If you want more of a drop and increased performance, Eibach/H&H make good springs you can pair with shocks/dampers from them or KYG/Koni.

Coilovers are good if you need the height adjustibility and/or need to go lower. ST coil overs are a great performance/budget set for handling. I'd vote for K-sports for decent handling with going really low. Better coilovers for more money are Koni and H&R.

get the FRPP. Thats what I did and I never regretted it. Just enough low, not to stiff, and handles like it is on rails. I paired them with the SVT struts/shocks I think next time i refresh i will get koni yellows but thats not for a while.

What sway bars are you using?

I realized that with how limited options are on these cars and that with no one making anything new for them that the focus was a waste of a time and sold it .
Could've gone with omni kit from massive lets any 00-05' suspension work. To late now tho. Have fun with your new car![headbang]

Bruce: I have SVT rear sway and stock front (I think its the same size as SVT) sway both poly bushings.

Say Vincent, The st comes w/ a 21mm front bar & a 20mm rear bar.

Ya that's what I thought, same as my old zts. Then I have 21mm front and 21mm rear. I know the svt rear sway I put on was larger than the stock st.
By how much? Or it could of been a aftermarket bar.
